Need to have greater control of your lighting to avoid disorientation, confusion or falls

Problems with time orientation can be greatly exacerbated by people leaving lights on all night because they may need to visit the bathroom. Waking up to bright lights can lead to people believing it is daytime and they must get up and start their day.

Within the @home safe system we can automatically regulate light levels so that lights will brighten if someone gets out of bed during the night and also dim down safely when someone returns to bed. We can also control the quality, colour and strength of light helping to:

  • reflect daily routines, 
  • wake up and go to sleep naturally
  • create required ambience
  • reinforce natural circadian rhythms to enhance wellbeing
